Dynamic Assessed Refresher Training (D.A.R.T.)
The Control of Asbestos Regulations, specifically Regulation 10, details what information, instruction and training people require to keep them safe from exposure to asbestos and, it MUST be refreshed annually
This is totally new to industry.

It saves time, reduces the need to travel, and more importantly, it covers what you know.
Who needs training?
Anyone who is liable to be exposed to asbestos, and especially those who work with it.
What do you need to know and do?
Under Reg 10, asbestos training should be refreshed annually where people work with asbestos, i.e.. licensed and non-licensed work, where only awareness training is required, it should be reviewed annually.
For those who have had refresher training before, you know the scene, you turn up to a venue, you sit down, all prepared to learn something, then the trainer starts telling you that there are different types of asbestos, there's white, brown and blue, if you breathe it in, it's not good... but hang on, isn't this what you were told last year, and the year before!?
The DART system does away with this. We test your knowledge through our online App., basically, if you know your stuff, you get a certificate!
Or, if you're ready to do it for real, click the button below to purchase your course.
D.A.R.T. - Dynamic Assessed Refresher Training
Here's how it works
You are asked a series of questions, such as...
Q1. How types of asbestos are there?
6 you say! well if you know this, why are you on a training course where the instructor tells you this?
Q2. How do you dispose of hazardous (Asbestos) waste?
You're going to seal it in a red bag, then a clear bag and put it in the designated hazardous waste skip!! again, if you know, why the training?
If you can answer all of the question correctly, you've got the knowledge, you need no more, if you get a couple wrong, we give you the information needed then ask a few more questions to make sure you've understood.
What we have here is called a Training Needs Analysis or TNA, this is what all refresher training should be based on, no matter what the subject is... well that's where DART comes in. What DART does is assess what you know, fills in the blanks, then lets you get on with what you're at work to do rather than being bored by told the same thing over and over again, year on year.
IMPORTANT - read the terms below before continuing
