A bit about the owner

1-11 Compliance Group Ltd was set up and is managed by Paul Beaumont

Managing Director

With over 40 years of dedicated experience in the asbestos industry, I am a highly established and respected asbestos consultant specialising in asbestos removal, training, and advice. Throughout my career, I have supported organisations across multiple sectors in navigating the complexities of asbestos compliance, safety, and operational best practice.

My extensive hands‑on expertise in asbestos removal has been built through decades of working on diverse and often challenging projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient outcomes.

As a trainer, I am known for delivering clear, practical, and engaging asbestos awareness and competency‑based training that empowers teams to work safely and confidently.

Across consultancy, I provide trusted guidance on asbestos management, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction—helping clients make informed, compliant decisions while protecting workers, buildings, and reputations.

Driven by a commitment to safety, integrity, and industry excellence, I continue to support organisations with expert insight shaped by four decades at the forefront of asbestos management.

For several years I have been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Independent Asbestos Training Providers (IATP), which, prior to that was an approved auditor and Marketing Director (non-exec.) of the United Kingdom Asbestos Training Association (UKATA).

Over the years, I have enjoyed being an approved BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society) training provider, auditor and exam invigilator.

Founder of the Asbestos Surveyors Guild (The-ASG), this was and still is probably the most challenging thing I’ve done to date.

There's even a video with me in it from when the HSE asked if I would assist them with their Asbestos & You campaign, I know, I'm no Clooney, more Choobakka. I've also trained the HSE, both in person and over Teams, I sit on the Asbestos Network panel and generally make a bit of a nuisance of myself with them.

What can I say, other than coming from the tools in the mid-80s, t being a CEO of a UK recognised trade body has been fun, stressful but I’ve enjoyed every day, I've worked in some amazing locations, with great companies, form global to local and all in between, I’ve met, and sadly lost some amazing people.

To be honest, I don't really work, what I do is a passion, not a job.

Grumpy asbestos man :) Paul Beaumont

I know, I hate the picture, in fact, I hate any picture of me, I could be happier but it was late, it had been a long day, and I'm really not photogenic
