Licensed Manager - Refresher
Cat C

Duration:
Subject to TNA (min 1 day)
Asbestos refresher training course is designed to ensure employees, supervisors, and managers maintain their competence and remain up to date with current legislation, guidance, working practices, and industry developments.
Refresher training is delivered in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and is tailored through a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to reflect each delegate's job role, level of responsibility, previous training, experience, and the type of asbestos work undertaken.
The course content is structured and customised to address identified knowledge gaps and may include:
Updates to asbestos legislation and industry guidance
Review of safe systems of work and plans of work
Lessons learned from incidents, audits, and site inspections
Changes in equipment, techniques, or procedures
Risk assessment and control measure reviews
PPE and RPE requirements
Emergency procedures and contingency arrangements
Practical discussions and scenario-based learning relevant to the delegate's role
Reinforcement of key asbestos safety principles and best practice
By using a Training Needs Analysis approach, the refresher training remains relevant, proportionate, and focused on maintaining competency while addressing individual and organisational training requirements.
